Peanut Sauce

Seriously delicious stuff! It is so good, you might be tempted to just drink it! It also works well as a sauce like in my Crispy Tofu with Peanut Sauce. You can use it as a dressing for the Chopped Asian Salad, or as a dip with my Rainbow Spring Rolls!

I love to make this sauce in a dressing shaker but feel free to just mix it in a bowl.

The ingredients are all things you should have or if you need to purchase any of these, the ingredients are reused in other recipes.

CHECK YOUR PEANUT BUTTER! Did you know that the only thing you need to make peanut butter is PEANUTS? It is seriously mind blowing to see what companies add to peanut butter.

Adjust the spice to you desire, I’m a fan of spice so I usually add 2-3 tablespoons or sriracha.

Soy sauce is flexible. Alternatives include: liquid aminos, coconut aminos, and tamari. I always try to opt for a lower sodium option.

Sweetener: This includes white sugar, coconut sugar, maple syrup or agave

Garlic and Ginger: You can use the root or add the powder form for both of these. 1 clove of garlic minced or 1 tsp of garlic powder. You can add about an inch of finely chopped ginger or 1 tsp of ginger powder.

This comes together quickly and can stored in the fridge for up to 5 days! So, make a batch and enjoy all week in various ways!

Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think of the sauce and how your used it!
